Job description

• Responsible for the procurement, importation and arrival of goods in the warehouse within provided deadlines and agreed lead times.
• Oversees the order process covering procurement, importation and delivery.
• Purchases requisitions, ensures order fulfilment on time, in full from procurement to head office/warehouse/authorized sites.
• Oversees order and purchase processing.
• Tracks procurement, including documentation of processes.
• Provides management information; identifies critical path root cause analysis
• Communicates with providers and principals, maintains relationships.
• Ensures compliance with government policies/regulations.
• Oversees process improvement.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in purchasing and importation, with at least 5 years professional experience.
• Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, peers, and industry colleagues/contacts in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills & client service skills.
• Excellent PLOC skills.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• With undergraduate degree in Business Administration, with graduate degree preferred.
