Job description

• Develop customized solutions to address the client's employee benefits needs including:
o Understanding client's objectives and set vendor evaluation criteria
o Prepare specifications, provide analysis of vendor proposals, make recommendations
o Negotiate service / product terms, conditions, and cost
o Agree and sign a service level agreement between insurer, third party and client
o Design and develop simple, user-friendly materials that are designed to support employee understanding of the program.\

• All communications and relationship with clients, inclusive of:
o Developing and implementing a strategy for growing and strengthening the relationship,
o Up-selling and cross-selling of the new and additional products and services
o Keeping clients informed of industry and regulatory changes and developments
o Collaborate closely with insurers and other vendors, as appropriate to address and meet clients' needs and requirements.
o Ensure that the full scope of services is priced appropriately and document the scope of service and compensation in a Client Service Agreement (CSA)
o Manage the financial performance of allocated book of business by developing a business plan for the portfolio of clients to meet specific retention and sales goals.


•Degree holder or equivalent work experience in Insurance, preferably in Employee Benefits
•Candidates exposed to healthcare: HR, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, healthcare consultants, and retirement professionals may be considered
•Commitment to first class service; Good listener - someone who can listen to a client requirement and articulate solution concisely.
•Ability to remain calm under pressure; Ability to multi-task among many urgent tasks and work with less supervision
•Experience dealing with corporate clients (capable in handling jumbo accounts - more complex and high level)
•Ability to articulate with intelligence, passion & energy
