Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with the hiring managers to align IT staffing forecast with talent acquisition needs;
2. Manage the candidates throughout the full recruiting cycle, from initial engagement until onboarding;
3. Participate in the recruitment process and when needed, in identifying high-quality candidates for vacant positions;
4. Perform quality reviews of work products and documentation;
5. Manage the career goals of personnel, conduct performance reviews and mentor a team composed of about 20 Business Analysts and Developers;
6. Ensure that formal job requirements are documented so that business needs are properly captured and articulated;
7. Collaborate with technical team members to maximize and leverage the understanding of the business solution’s functional and technical requirements;
8. Actively participate in the development of work estimates associated with project work requests;
9. Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to the members of the development team;
10. Adhere to the application life cycle’s standards, artifacts and documents to ensure that the software solutions developed and tested fit the purpose, meet business needs and are operationally sustainable;
11. Oversee the creation of test cases, test scripts and test suites used in test execution;
12. Coordinate the testing of applications based on the created test plans, test cases and test scripts to ensure that the delivered solution meets the requirements;
13. Be responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of necessary escalations while producing and maintaining applicable tasks and status reporting within the project team;
14. Respond proactively to both business and project issues and escalate such issues appropriately;
15. Assist in team management activities, including hiring and training, and keep all team resources at full performance;
16. Maintain staffing plans/resource allocations to balance workload and report on team productivity;
17. Performs other job-related duties as assigned; and
18. Work based on US hours.


Skills Required:
1. Demonstrated experience in sourcing candidates, who possess the skills defined by US Business partners, from surrounding area/s;
2. Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure;
4. Must have a high degree of initiative and with the ability to work independently;
5. Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding goals in a fast-paced work environment and with often shifting priorities;
6. Prior management expertise as well as work history as a leading Business Analyst and/or Developer;
7. Strong proficiency in SQL, .Net, jScript and C# languages and in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and ServiceNow toolsets; and
8. Knowledge of Banking, Finance and Technology, with an emphasis on Mortgage processes and terminology.
