Apart from helping candidates find their ideal jobs, RGF cares a lot about giving career advice from executives down to students -- if the situation asks for it. Our Practice Head for BPO and Shared Services, Mae Mendoza, was invited to do a Career Talk for Grade 12 Learners of University of Nueva Caceres in Naga last February 23, 2018. Almost 250 students attended the talk about how students can identify their strengths, weaknesses and helped them realize what career they will be passionate about in the future. RGF believes that executives of today all had the same dilemma years ago.
Mae Mendoza gave the learners an overview about what it’s like to be in the corporate world, updated them regarding the market trends, future of recruitment and how artificial intelligence will affect the employment demands in a couple of years. She also tackled how childhood and high school can really make an impact on who they will become in the future.
Some of the learners already know who they want to be while some are still undecided. The learners also raised questions about what jobs will be of high demand in the as well as the challenges that await them in their first jobs.
RGF thrives to continuously educate not only candidates but also students, on how to choose a career. It’s important to talk about it as early as in Senior High because it is in school where we should start unleashing potential.
