As many of us stay safe at home during this COVID-19 pandemic, there are some people who bravely face threats and risk their very lives in order to perform their duties to save ours. They are the frontline workers, our everyday heroes amidst the pandemic.

We all know that this COVID-19 a pandemic may cause anxieties not only to the people staying at their homes but most especially to the healthcare and other frontline workers. And one way to help the frontliners ease their anxieties is to offer our support proactively.

Supporting them does not require a big amount and effort. We can simply offer them meals or provide some of our extra personal protective equipment, or just acknowledge their sacrifices by sending them thank-you messages and prayers while staying at home. Let them know that their sacrifices are not and will never be unseen.

RGF Executive Search Philippines Inc. decided to organize a donation drive in order to support and honor the frontline workers. And through the generous donations of each employee, we were able to donate to three organizations.

• Ospital ng Maynila
• one of the health facilities operated by the city government of Manila that is capable of conducting swab tests for COVID-19. They have 100 front liners (doctors, nurses, paramedical workers janitorial and security guards)

• Research Institute for Tropical Medicine
• one of the testing centers for coronavirus in the Philippines. It is also the country's national reference laboratory for infectious and tropical diseases. RITM has 1,000 front liners – 410 direct frontliners (laboratory and hospital operations, incident command system, and surveillance unit) and 590 are support staff (utility workers, admin, and finance staff)

• Project Hero #FeedPHbabies
• a non-profit organization that provides milk and vitamins for 0-24-month-old babies, from hard-up families due to the extended enhanced community quarantine in NCR.

Here’s a heartfelt thanks to all the frontline workers who sacrifice themselves for the safety of the people. We do respect and appreciate all of you as you work hard fighting an invisible enemy.
